Yes, they can share a CDROM drive.. not at the same time though.

It can be shutdown (or never started) and you can use your full RAM.
When you start it you tell it how much RAM to use. Note that the Emplant
can only use the largest contiguous block of memory. I have 8MB on my Warp
and 2MB on my motherboard as well as 2MB chip and can only use the 8MB.

You can run it fine on a 4000 in many modes. I run it in Productivity
256 color mode on my 4000 with a 1950 monitor. Strangely enough 256 colors
seems faster in Emplant than on the WB. I guess you won't be able to use
a non-flickering mode on your 1084S though-- that will surely be very
annoying.

I believe with some sw called PowerPrint (or similar) you can
do this. I have not printed anything yet from the Mac side. The Mac port
would definatly work though.

Yes, Emplant can share the port just fine. If you want to use MacTCP
though you'll have to use the Emplant serial port though as apparently MacTCP
bangs the hardware and will not work on the Amiga serial port.

I'm not sure what you mean here... You will be able to run the IBM
module at the same time as the Mac one though (as we've been told anyways).
If you mean do you have to choose between getting the (unavailable) IBM
module *OR* the Mac one-- you have no choice-- Emplant comes with the Mac
Emulation-- it cannot be bought without it.

Seems pretty good to me on my Warp40/40. I haven't used Macs too
much though so I couldn't comment otherwise.

In theory yes. You probably wouldn't want to though as the emulation
overhead would most certainly slow both renderings down quite a bit. You'd
be better off doing it all on the Amiga side with *NO* emulations (or
anything else) running.
